Carter Pollock showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlo Lam in the 9th minute of the match. Leopoldo Goins kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. If Carlo Lam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Theodore Nichols made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Daron McClain sent off a good shot on target. Minnitaki FC's Theodore Nichols played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elton Herbert in the 15th minute of play. The supporters of Morricetown FC booed when Minnitaki FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Absolon Thornton didn't get a good kick on the ball. Minnitaki FC's Theodore Nichols proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Minnitaki FC from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Minnitaki FC's zone, Elton Herbert stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Theodore Nichols came out of the goal and Elton Herbert tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Carter Pollock took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Absolon Thornton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Morricetown FC's Dorsey Westbrook got a free kick in the 30th minute. When Minnitaki FC's Duncan Flamand in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Morricetown FC's goalie prevented a goal. If Daron McClain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daron McClain fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Theodore Nichols having to interfere. Elton Herbert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Daron McClain received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Theodore Nichols tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Morricetown FC's Leopoldo Goins got a free kick in the 44th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daron McClain got free with Theodore Nichols in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 52nd match minute, Minnitaki FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ollie Baker to maneuver through the defense. Ahmed Farr recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 56 minutes into the match, Morricetown FC's goalkeeper Carter Pollock had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Duncan Flamand. In the 59th match minute, Minnitaki FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stefan Cardenas to maneuver through the defense. In the 61st minute Daron McClain shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Theodore Nichols saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 64th match minute, Morricetown FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jerome Quessy to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 66 minutes, Duncan Flamand managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Minnitaki FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Duncan Flamand was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Elton Herbert kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. When Carlo Lam came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Minnitaki FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlo Lam couldn't finish the play. Duncan Flamand could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Carter Pollock made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Morricetown FC's zone, Duncan Flamand stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carter Pollock came out of the goal and Duncan Flamand tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Duncan Flamand blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carter Pollock having to make a save. The Minnitaki FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Morricetown FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
