Spectators: 6724 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1724, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Carlo Lam got the match started through his kick off. In the 4th minute, Absolon Thornton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Riceton AFC's Odell Shipman in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Minnitaki FC's goalie prevented a goal. Carlo Lam fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Célestin Muniz having to interfere. If Odell Shipman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Minnitaki FC's Theodore Nichols played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matthew Bruneau in the 15th minute of play. Riceton AFC's Célestin Muniz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Riceton AFC from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlo Lam in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Célestin Muniz saved Riceton AFC from getting behind. Carlo Lam sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Minnitaki FC's zone, Matthew Bruneau stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Theodore Nichols came out of the goal and Matthew Bruneau tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dirk Britt hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Matthew Bruneau's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Theodore Nichols was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. Carlo Lam struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Célestin Muniz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Minnitaki FC. Minnitaki FC's Carlo Lam got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 37 minutes, Duncan Flamand managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Minnitaki FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Duncan Flamand was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Célestin Muniz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Carlo Lam showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 40 minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Odell Shipman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Carlo Lam got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Louis Willoughby hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Célestin Muniz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Duncan Flamand, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. After 56 minutes of play, Riceton AFC's Matthew Bruneau made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Theodore Nichols was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Odell Shipman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 64thth minute of the game Odell Shipman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Minnitaki FC's Theodore Nichols was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Célestin Muniz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlo Lam in the 65th minute of play. 65 minutes into the game, Carlo Lam cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Célestin Muniz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Duncan Flamand recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carlo Lam received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Célestin Muniz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Matthew Bruneau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Robby Byrd's late challenge caught a Minnitaki FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Robby Byrd helped the player get up and apologised. Célestin Muniz went to the wrong direction when Stefan Cardenas was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. If Duncan Flamand had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Matthew Bruneau's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 88thth minute, Theodore Nichols skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 91st minute, Matthew Bruneau ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Theodore Nichols was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2.
