After recieving a nice pass, Morricetown FC's Ahmed Farr tried to score from far away in the 12th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 14th match minute, Glendon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wayne Robillard to maneuver through the defense. If Daron McClain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Leopoldo Goins fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Morricetown FC's protests and gave Leopoldo Goins a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Glendon booed when Morricetown FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leopoldo Goins didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carter Pollock showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isiah Cordero in the 26th minute of the match. Elton Herbert struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Sam Loyd didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Morricetown FC. After 30 played minutes, Morricetown FC's Quentin McMillan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sam Loyd came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Morricetown FC reached it. Daron McClain fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sam Loyd having to interfere. Isiah Cordero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carter Pollock having to interfere. Glendon's Sam Loyd played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elton Herbert in the 40th minute of play. 43 minutes into the game, Wilmer Gregg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Carter Pollock was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wilmer Gregg to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Isiah Cordero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
