Duncan Flamand fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stéphane Zamora having to interfere. If Carlo Lam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 28 minutes into the game, Emerson Bailey was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kincardine AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Minnitaki FC the free kick. A collision led to Kincardine AFC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Berry Larsen to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Duncan Flamand got free with Stéphane Zamora in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Carlo Lam fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stéphane Zamora having to interfere. Stéphane Jetté hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Carlo Lam's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stéphane Zamora was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Berry Larsen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kincardine AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Berry Larsen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Theodore Nichols breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Absolon Thornton fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Minnitaki FC's protests and gave Absolon Thornton a yellow card for diving instead. Absolon Thornton kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Kincardine AFC's Taylor Craig got a free kick in the 71st minute. Berry Larsen kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. In the 78th minute Absolon Thornton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stéphane Zamora saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Duncan Flamand had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlo Lam sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Auguste Bullard hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Stefan Cardenas took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 85th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Stéphane Zamora. Kincardine AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Duncan Flamand left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Minnitaki FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. The Kincardine AFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Minnitaki FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
