Spectators: 6717 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1717, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Douglass Maxwell took the kick off in the first half of the match. Carter Pollock showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Douglass Maxwell, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Daron McClain managed to get in a good position for a shot. Morricetown FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Daron McClain was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ernesto Bolduc breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Carter Pollock showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Douglass Maxwell in the 8th minute of the match. Leopoldo Goins kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Morricetown FC's zone, Mauricio Laforge stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carter Pollock came out of the goal and Mauricio Laforge tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Carter Pollock took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Douglass Maxwell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th minute Elton Herbert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Bolduc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 22nd minute, Douglass Maxwell got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 26th minute Douglass Maxwell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carter Pollock saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ernesto Bolduc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daron McClain in the 29th minute of the match. Ernesto Bolduc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daron McClain in the 32nd minute of play. 34 minutes into the game, Douglass Maxwell recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Carter Pollock. Douglass Maxwell showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 40th minute Douglass Maxwell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carter Pollock saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daron McClain sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 46th minute, Morricetown FC's Ahmed Farr seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Ahmed Farr the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Morricetown FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Ahmed Farr had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 45 minutes into the game, one of Morricetown FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daron McClain to make the kick off. Leopoldo Goins received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Ernesto Bolduc tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 54th minute, Kip Frederick hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daron McClain fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernesto Bolduc having to interfere. A hard shot 58 in the game by Daron McClain from a close distance when the talented Ernesto Bolduc managed to make a qualified save. Ladner FC's players were relieved. Mauricio Laforge received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Carter Pollock tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Ladner FC's Ernesto Bolduc got control of the ball when Dorsey Westbrook tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ladner FC's Douglass Maxwell got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 72nd minute, Daron McClain ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ernesto Bolduc was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daron McClain got free with Ernesto Bolduc in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee showed Quentin McMillan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 95 played minutes Morricetown FC got a freekick which was hit by Quentin McMillan. Douglass Maxwell struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Carter Pollock didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ladner FC. 97 minutes into the game, Ladner FC's Mauricio Laforge nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carter Pollock made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Morricetown FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
