Spectators: 6724 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1724, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Absolon Gonzalez got the match started through his kick off. Quetico's Columbus Canales proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Quetico from getting a goal against them. After 4 minutes, Reuben Connelly mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Quetico and the Edzo AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Quetico's Reuben Connelly got a free kick in the 4th minute. In the 9th minute of the match Douglas Atkinson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Derek Edmonds skillfully saved the ball. Maynard Boudreaux received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Derek Edmonds tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Jeffry Sterling fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Quetico's protests and gave Jeffry Sterling a yellow card for diving instead. In the 11th match minute, Quetico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeffry Sterling to maneuver through the defense. Anton Ruth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Columbus Canales tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maynard Boudreaux sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maynard Boudreaux received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Derek Edmonds tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Quetico's Maynard Boudreaux got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Valère Auclair had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 39 played minutes Quetico got a freekick which was hit by Reuben Connelly. Jeffry Sterling struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Derek Edmonds didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Quetico. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Absolon Gonzalez in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Columbus Canales saved Quetico from getting behind.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Valère Auclair to strike the kick off in the second half. Quetico's Columbus Canales played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anton Ruth in the 57th minute of play. Derek Edmonds showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valère Auclair in the 62nd minute of the match. Quetico's Valère Auclair got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Columbus Canales took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anton Ruth, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Absolon Gonzalez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Columbus Canales stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Absolon Gonzalez's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. When Edzo AFC's Anton Ruth in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Quetico's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 78 minutes, Valère Auclair managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Quetico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valère Auclair was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dion Terry kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. 84 minutes into the match, Absolon Gonzalez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Columbus Canales. Quetico's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Absolon Gonzalez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Kenton Abernathy hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Absolon Gonzalez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Columbus Canales having to interfere. If Anton Ruth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the Quetico players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Edzo AFC.
