Spectators: 6719 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1719, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Len Loiseau took the kick off in the first half of the match. If Len Loiseau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Len Loiseau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Derek Edmonds managed to avoid a goal in the 13thth minute, when Connors FC's Jean Blanchard fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Anton Ruth struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Dominic Ivey didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Edzo AFC. Jean Blanchard succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 24th playminute. The audience was convinced that Absolon Gonzalez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dominic Ivey was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. Derek Edmonds made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Jean Blanchard sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Absolon Gonzalez in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dominic Ivey saved Connors FC from getting behind. Anton Ruth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dominic Ivey having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Absolon Gonzalez made a kick off. After 52 minutes of play, Edzo AFC's Anton Ruth made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dominic Ivey was left in no man's land by his defense there! Derek Edmonds showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jean Blanchard, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Justin Bernard hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Connors FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 63rd minute, when Absolon Gonzalez scored to the left of an out of position Dominic Ivey, making the score, 1-2. Noel Cox kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Edzo AFC's Marion Brunelle tried to score from far away in the 68th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Edzo AFC's Absolon Gonzalez got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Anton Ruth came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Edzo AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anton Ruth couldn't finish the play. 75 minutes into the match, Edzo AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Jean Blanchard came free, but Derek Edmonds reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 79th minute Len Loiseau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Derek Edmonds saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Absolon Gonzalez in the 82nd minute of play forced Connors FC's goalkeeper Dominic Ivey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Absolon Gonzalez received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dominic Ivey came out and tried to block the shot, but Absolon Gonzalez slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 84th minute. If Justin Bernard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95thth minute of the game Jean Blanchard who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Edzo AFC's Derek Edmonds was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
