Spectators: 6726 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 0) Connors FC's Dominic Ivey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Randolph Coffey in the 8th minute of play. Wesley Simmons fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dominic Ivey having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Randolph Coffey in the 14th minute of play forced Connors FC's goalkeeper Dominic Ivey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wesley Simmons blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dominic Ivey having to make a save. In the 17th match minute, Connors FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Caleb Leroux to maneuver through the defense. Wesley Simmons fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dominic Ivey having to interfere. Randolph Coffey's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dominic Ivey read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. If Randolph Coffey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 38 minutes, Randolph Coffey made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Connors FC's Dominic Ivey tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 43 minutes into the match, Lawnhill FC's Randolph Coffey sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dominic Ivey narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After the first half Lawnhill FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jean Blanchard to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute Connors FC were awarded a corner. Marcel Gonzales went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Connors FC's Len Loiseau to fire away a dangerous shot which Tommy Fontaine despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 55 minutes into the match, Connors FC's goal looked a bit too open when Randolph Coffey came free, but Dominic Ivey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Connors FC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Caleb Leroux hit a great ball. Isreal Kurtz was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 58th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Caleb Leroux kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Wesley Simmons received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Dominic Ivey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 62 minutes into the match, Lawnhill FC's Randolph Coffey sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dominic Ivey narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Connors FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 64th minute, when Randolph Coffey scored to the left of an out of position Dominic Ivey, making the score, 0-2. Richard Farmer took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tommy Fontaine. Tommy Fontaine dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Leonardo Daigle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Fontaine having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jean Blanchard in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tommy Fontaine saved Lawnhill FC from getting behind. Wesley Simmons who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 78thth minute tested the skills of Dominic Ivey when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 84 minutes into the match, Lawnhill FC's goal looked a bit too open when Leonardo Daigle came free, but Tommy Fontaine reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 85 played minutes Lawnhill FC got a freekick which was hit by Sung Ramirez. When Leonardo Daigle came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Connors FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonardo Daigle couldn't finish the play. Tommy Fontaine made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jean Blanchard in the 88th minute of play. Wesley Simmonss short, quick shot in the 91stth minute got Dominic Ivey to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Connors FC's Dominic Ivey proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Connors FC from getting a goal against them. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Lawnhill FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
