In the 3rd minute Noel Rivard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florentin Chu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 7 minutes into the match, Osborne's goal looked a bit too open when Jerold Beatty came free, but Marcus Pacheco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Noé Jeffries fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcus Pacheco having to interfere. If Noel Rivard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Noel Rivard in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Florentin Chu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Federico Haynes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florentin Chu having to interfere. Shepard FC's Florentin Chu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Noel Rivard in the 38th minute of play. Federico Haynes scored 1-2 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Florentin Chu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Shepard FC's goalkeeper Florentin Chu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Federico Haynes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Florentin Chu was relentless in the 48th minute of the game. After the first half Osborne were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Bruce Castaneda's late challenge caught a Shepard FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bruce Castaneda helped the player get up and apologised. Bruce Castaneda kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. 53 minutes into the match, Shepard FC's Jerold Beatty sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcus Pacheco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Florentin Chu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Noel Rivard in the 55th minute of the match. With a little luck, Shepard FC's Florentin Chu got control of the ball when Federico Haynes tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 69th minute, Jerold Beatty ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcus Pacheco was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. If Federico Haynes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Jerold Beatty managed to get in a good position for a shot. Shepard FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jerold Beatty was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcus Pacheco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hai Staley hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. If Federico Haynes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Federico Haynes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Florentin Chu made a huge save. After 92 minutes, Noé Jeffries mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Shepard FC and the Osborne players grew even worse after the yellow card. Florentin Chu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Noel Rivard in the 93rd minute of the match. Florentin Chu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Federico Haynes in the 97th minute. Osborne were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Shepard FC to leave the ground with a draw.
