Spectators: 6726 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Valère Auclair kicked off to start the match. Edmundo Devine struck a weak shot in the 2nd minute. Columbus Canales didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mawer. A collision led to Quetico getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Jeffry Sterling hit a great ball. When Edmundo Devine came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Mawer fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edmundo Devine couldn't finish the play. In the 11th minute Mariano Crowell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Columbus Canales saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Peter Childress took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valère Auclair, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Valère Auclair's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 21stth minute, Peter Childress skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Columbus Canales came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Mawer's Edmundo Devine. But to his dismay, Edmundo Devine quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 36th minute, Horacio Jimenez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mariano Crowell in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Columbus Canales saved Quetico from getting behind. Quetico's Columbus Canales played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Crowell in the 42nd minute of play. After 45 played minutes Quetico got a freekick which was hit by Jeffry Sterling.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mariano Crowell to strike the kick off in the second half. Peter Childress didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Maynard Boudreaux went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Florence Favreau during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Quetico booed when Mawer was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florence Favreau didn't get a good kick on the ball. Quetico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cornelius Guy in the 61st minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Darnell Louis heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Maynard Boudreaux struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Peter Childress didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Quetico. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 74th minute, Emon Rivers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 75th minute, Valère Auclair ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Peter Childress was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. The supporters of Mawer booed when Quetico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeffry Sterling didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot 79 in the game by Edmundo Devine from a close distance when the talented Columbus Canales managed to make a qualified save. Quetico's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Crowell in the 88th minute of play forced Quetico's goalkeeper Columbus Canales to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Quetico were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Mawer for a fine match.
