Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Lyndon Barrette took the kick off in the first half of the match. 2 minutes into the match, Lawnhill FC's Randolph Coffey sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Conrado Gentza narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Armand Lazure kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Lawnhill FC's zone, Lyndon Barrette stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommy Fontaine came out of the goal and Lyndon Barrette tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Lawnhill FC's Wesley Simmons in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Balzac's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 24 minutes, Alphonse McCarty managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Balzac's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alphonse McCarty was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Lyndon Barrette's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tommy Fontaine was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. Graham Hutchison recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Wesley Simmons came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Lawnhill FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wesley Simmons couldn't finish the play. Tommy Fontaine showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lyndon Barrette in the 44th minute of the match. Randolph Coffey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conrado Gentza having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Randolph Coffey was the one to do the kick off. Lawnhill FC's Tommy Fontaine played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Graham Hutchison in the 54th minute of play. After 55 minutes, Lyndon Barrette made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Lawnhill FC's Tommy Fontaine tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Balzac getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Armand Lazure hit a great ball. Tommy Fontaine took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lyndon Barrette, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Balzac's zone, Wesley Simmons stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Conrado Gentza came out of the goal and Wesley Simmons tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Lyndon Barrette came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Balzac fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lyndon Barrette couldn't finish the play. If Lyndon Barrette had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lyndon Barrette in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommy Fontaine prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Harland Rodrigues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 85th match minute, Lawnhill FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Blake Kitchen to maneuver through the defense. Lawnhill FC's Tommy Fontaine played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lyndon Barrette in the 86th minute of play. Armand Lazure got his second yellow card in the match during the 90th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. 93 minutes into the game, Randolph Coffey recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Conrado Gentza. Randolph Coffey showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Conrado Gentza made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Randolph Coffey sent off a good shot on target. Balzac were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
