Spectators: 6717 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1717, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Mariano Crowell kicked off to start the match. Mariano Crowell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Crowell in the 8th minute of play forced Osborne's goalkeeper Marcus Pacheco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11th minute, Buster Bourgeau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edmundo Devine recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Federico Haynes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peter Childress having to interfere. 17 minutes into the match, Osborne's Noel Rivard sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Peter Childress narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 19 minutes, Edmundo Devine managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mawer's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edmundo Devine was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emon Rivers got free with Marcus Pacheco in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Noel Rivard struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Peter Childress didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Osborne. Osborne's Federico Haynes got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 32 minutes, Noel Rivard made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Mawer's Peter Childress tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Federico Haynes's late challenge caught a Mawer's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Federico Haynes helped the player get up and apologised. Noel Rivard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Noel Rivard to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute, Noel Rivard got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Horacio Jimenez fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mawer's protests and gave Horacio Jimenez a yellow card for diving instead. Horacio Jimenez hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Federico Haynes who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 60thth minute tested the skills of Peter Childress when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Marcus Pacheco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Crowell in the 63rd minute of play. Nathanial Larivière struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Peter Childress didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Osborne. 75 minutes into the game, Léonce Gifford was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mawer's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Osborne the free kick. Léonce Gifford hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Noel Rivard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Peter Childress tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mawer's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Noel Rivard 82 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-2. A collision led to Osborne getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Bruce Castaneda hit a great ball. With a little luck, Mawer's Peter Childress got control of the ball when Federico Haynes tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Osborne's zone, Mariano Crowell stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcus Pacheco came out of the goal and Mariano Crowell tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Osborne players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
