Kegashka FC's Foster Bartley proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Kegashka FC from getting a goal against them. In the 4th match minute, Connors FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Noel Cox to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Kegashka FC booed when Connors FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Noel Cox didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Kegashka FC's Gaétan Jarrett tried to score from far away in the 7th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Dominic Ivey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Booker McGrath, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Noel Cox hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Eugene Labrie kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the match, Connors FC's Marcel Gonzales broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Caleb Leroux during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Caleb Leroux hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. In the 26th minute Arlen Woodruff shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dominic Ivey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Caleb Leroux was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 34 minutes had been played. Caleb Leroux kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. In the 43rd match minute, Kegashka FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by German Richmond to maneuver through the defense. 45 minutes into the match, Connors FC's Marcel Gonzales broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Connors FC's Noel Cox suffered a sore knee after 46 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Roy Labossière charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Roy Labossière the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Kegashka FC's Roy Labossière got a free kick in the 47th minute. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Len Loiseau to make the kick off. Arlen Woodruff received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Dominic Ivey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Booker McGrath blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dominic Ivey having to make a save. With an all-out effort, Kegashka FC's Dominic Ivey threw himself towards the right post 58 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Arlen Woodruff, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Booker McGrath could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Dominic Ivey made a huge save. Booker McGrath who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 62ndth minute tested the skills of Dominic Ivey when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 66th minute Arlen Woodruff shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dominic Ivey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 69 in the game by Booker McGrath from a close distance when the talented Dominic Ivey managed to make a qualified save. Connors FC's players were relieved. The referee felt a red card was in order, 71 minutes into the game, when Marcel Petrie put in a rough tackle. After 71 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Connors FC! In the 74th minute there was a penalty for Kegashka FC. Gaétan Jarrett stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Dominic Ivey. 0-1. Booker McGrath who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 79thth minute tested the skills of Dominic Ivey when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Dominic Ivey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arlen Woodruff in the 90th minute of play. Arlen Woodruff fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dominic Ivey having to interfere. In the 96th minute of the match, Booker McGrath got a very nice opportunity to score, but Dominic Ivey was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Dominic Ivey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roy Labossière, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
