Mawer's supporters rose to their feet, but Mariano Crowell was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tommy Fontaine breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mariano Crowell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Randolph Coffey in the 11th minute of play forced Mawer's goalkeeper Peter Childress to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mawer's goalkeeper Peter Childress, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tommy Fontaine made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Devine in the 21st minute of play. Sung Ramirez hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Tommy Fontaine showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Devine in the 23rd minute of the match. 25 minutes into the match, Mawer's goal looked a bit too open when Randolph Coffey came free, but Peter Childress reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Wesley Simmons had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wesley Simmons received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Peter Childress tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wesley Simmons got free with Peter Childress in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Mariano Crowell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wesley Simmons sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Lawnhill FC booed when Mawer was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edmundo Devine didn't get a good kick on the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Randolph Coffey made a kick off. Wesley Simmons recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 60th minute, Wesley Simmons left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lawnhill FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Loren Rock kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Tommy Fontaine showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Crowell in the 66th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edmundo Devine got free with Tommy Fontaine in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 69 minutes into the game, Wesley Simmons cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Peter Childress was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Randolph Coffey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Peter Childress showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Randolph Coffey in the 80th minute of the match. Edmundo Devine struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Tommy Fontaine didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mawer. After a rather tough play, Mawer's Emon Rivers got a free kick in the 86th minute. Peter Childress took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Randolph Coffey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 95th minute, Randolph Coffey ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Peter Childress was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Lawnhill FC had played much better football throughout.
