Spectators: 6734 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1734, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Valère Auclair made the kick off which started today's match. Len Loiseau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Columbus Canales having to interfere. When Noel Cox fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Connors FC's protests and gave Noel Cox a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Connors FC's Noel Cox got a free kick in the 7th minute. Maynard Boudreaux received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Dominic Ivey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Jean Blanchard's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Columbus Canales was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. After 13 played minutes Quetico got a freekick which was hit by Reuben Connelly. Valère Auclair's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dominic Ivey read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. Dominic Ivey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valère Auclair, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Quetico's Columbus Canales played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Len Loiseau in the 18th minute of play. After 21 minutes, Len Loiseau made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Quetico's Columbus Canales tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Maynard Boudreaux had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jean Blanchard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dominic Ivey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valère Auclair in the 38th minute of the match. In the 41st minute Jean Blanchard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Columbus Canales saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Len Loiseau's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Columbus Canales read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. If Valère Auclair had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Len Loiseau kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. When Maynard Boudreaux came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Quetico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maynard Boudreaux couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valère Auclair in the 67th minute of play forced Connors FC's goalkeeper Dominic Ivey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Connors FC's Dominic Ivey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valère Auclair in the 79th minute of play. Dominic Ivey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maynard Boudreaux in the 84th minute of the match. Douglas Atkinson took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 88th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dominic Ivey. Connors FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Maynard Boudreaux recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Connors FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
