Jerold Beatty might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Derek Edmonds. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jerold Beatty ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerold Beatty in the 14th minute of play forced Edzo AFC's goalkeeper Derek Edmonds to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Derek Edmonds took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jerold Beatty, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice moves Anton Ruth could shoot a difficult shot in the 30th minute, which Florentin Chu however easily saved by the left post. Florentin Chu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Absolon Gonzalez in the 32nd minute of the match. Darnell Berg's late challenge caught a Edzo AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Darnell Berg helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 36th minute of the game. One of Shepard FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Edzo AFC:s goal. The referee gave Edzo AFC a penalty, 38 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Marion Brunelle, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Shepard FC's Florentin Chu. 1-1. Absolon Gonzalez might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Florentin Chu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Absolon Gonzalez ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 44thth minute of the game Absolon Gonzalez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Shepard FC's Florentin Chu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Florentin Chu made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Anton Ruth sent off a good shot on target.

After having played for 51 minutes, Jerold Beatty managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Shepard FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jerold Beatty was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 55 minutes into the match, Shepard FC's Jerold Beatty sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Derek Edmonds narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Florentin Chu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Absolon Gonzalez's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
