A collision led to Caramat FC getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Barton Franks hit a great ball. Adalberto Davidson, 7 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After some careless play in the Caramat FC defense, Bobbie Orozco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Morris Kaufman. The Caramat FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Morris Kaufman should have stopped the shot. If Emanuel Denton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Caramat FC's Stephan Barrette got a free kick in the 30th minute. Kristopher Vachon kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Morris Kaufman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Derick Robison went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. When the match clock showed 44 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Prince Chadwick sped through Newtown's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Adolfo Langlais. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Derick Robison stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Morris Kaufman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Denton in the 52nd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Derick Robison put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Morris Kaufman. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Newtown's goalkeeper Adolfo Langlais, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Emanuel Denton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 77 minutes of play, Newtown's Emanuel Denton made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Morris Kaufman was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Derick Robison in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Morris Kaufman saved Caramat FC from getting behind. Morris Kaufman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Derick Robison in the 83rd minute of the match. Adolfo Langlais took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cedrick Ayala, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Derick Robison in the 93rd minute of play forced Caramat FC's goalkeeper Morris Kaufman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Caramat FC's Morris Kaufman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Derick Robison in the 95th minute of play. Newtown's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
