In the 9th minute, Mathieu Gousse reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Edmond Pelletier. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 15th minute Ariel Park shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Villalobos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 17 minutes, Roger Whitley managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Auteuil's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roger Whitley was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alva Ambrose was extremely unlucky when he, in the 22nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Roger Whitley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 27th minute Ariel Park shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Villalobos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Manchester United getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Fabrice Craig hit a great ball. Mathieu Gousse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edmond Pelletier having to interfere. 37 minutes into the match, Manchester United's goal looked a bit too open when Ariel Park came free, but Marcos Villalobos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mathieu Gousse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edmond Pelletier having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After 54 minutes of play, Manchester United's Mathieu Gousse made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edmond Pelletier was left in no man's land by his defense there! Edmond Pelletier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mathieu Gousse, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. In the 60th minute, Alva Ambrose got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mathieu Gousse recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Roger Whitley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ariel Park had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edmond Pelletier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alva Ambrose in the 75th minute of the match. In the 84th minute Ariel Park shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Villalobos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Roger Whitley managed to get in a good position for a shot. Auteuil's supporters rose to their feet, but Roger Whitley was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcos Villalobos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marcos Villalobos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ariel Park in the 87th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fabrice Craig during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 88th minute, Fabrice Craig hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ariel Park's late challenge caught a Manchester United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ariel Park helped the player get up and apologised. After 92 played minutes Auteuil got a freekick which was hit by Ariel Park. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mathieu Gousse in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edmond Pelletier saved Auteuil from getting behind. Mathieu Gousse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Manchester United were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Auteuil for a fine match.
