It was a well-played corner which Levi Fay managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Alva Ambrose could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Tommie Flynn made a huge save. 23 minutes into the match, Ripples FC's goalkeeper Tommie Flynn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alva Ambrose. Ripples FC's Tommie Flynn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Ripples FC from getting a goal against them. If Alva Ambrose had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mathieu Gousse received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Tommie Flynn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lionel Granger in the 32nd minute of play forced Manchester United's goalkeeper Marcos Villalobos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 33 minutes, Fabrice Craig mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Manchester United and the Ripples FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Manchester United's Fabrice Craig got a free kick in the 33rd minute. In the 34th minute, Lionel Granger made a precise shot to the right of Marcos Villalobos. Manchester United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Ryan Gagnon charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ryan Gagnon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ryan Gagnon hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Tommie Flynn made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Alva Ambrose sent off a good shot on target. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Tommie Flynn came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Manchester United's Mathieu Gousse. But to his dismay, Mathieu Gousse quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 67th match minute, Ripples FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dieudonné Ludwig to maneuver through the defense. After 72 played minutes Ripples FC got a freekick which was hit by Shon Penn. When the match clock showed 80 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Lionel Granger sped through Manchester United's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Marcos Villalobos. After 86 played minutes Ripples FC got a freekick which was hit by Dieudonné Ludwig. Tommie Flynn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mathieu Gousse in the 87th minute of the match. Mathieu Gousse took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tommie Flynn. Tommie Flynn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Mathieu Gousse blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tommie Flynn having to make a save. In the 97th minute, Jan Mata ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcos Villalobos was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Ripples FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
