Spectators: 6717 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1717, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ariel Park got the match started through his kick off. After a rather tough play, Auteuil's Oswaldo Morse got a free kick in the 4th minute. Roger Whitley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Godelieve Nicholson having to interfere. The supporters of Auteuil booed when Headquarters FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brenton Watson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Godelieve Nicholson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roger Whitley in the 12th minute. Auteuil's Edmond Pelletier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Darrel Christiansen in the 26th minute of play. Edmond Pelletier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Darrel Christiansen, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. When Darrel Christiansen came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Headquarters FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Darrel Christiansen couldn't finish the play. Newton Henley's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Godelieve Nicholson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Derrick Lilly managed to get in a good position for a shot. Headquarters FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Derrick Lilly was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edmond Pelletier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 41st minute, Darrel Christiansen made a precise shot to the right of Edmond Pelletier. Auteuil's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. If Roger Whitley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Darrel Christiansen to strike the kick off in the second half. Ariel Park recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 54 played minutes, Auteuil's Normand Colvin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Godelieve Nicholson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Auteuil reached it. Derrick Lilly sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ariel Park in the 59th minute of play forced Headquarters FC's goalkeeper Godelieve Nicholson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Auteuil booed when Headquarters FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Shayne Lane didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Darrel Christiansen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Brenton Watson kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Godelieve Nicholson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ariel Park in the 74th minute of play. 80 minutes into the match, Auteuil's goalkeeper Edmond Pelletier had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Derrick Lilly. Derrick Lilly struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Edmond Pelletier didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Headquarters FC. In the 82nd match minute, Auteuil was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Newton Henley to maneuver through the defense. 86 minutes into the match, Headquarters FC's Derrick Lilly sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edmond Pelletier narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Auteuil's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Darrel Christiansen 87 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in Auteuil's zone, Darrel Christiansen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edmond Pelletier came out of the goal and Darrel Christiansen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Headquarters FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
