After a defensive mix-up in Elma AFC's zone, Florence Bliss stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Logan Caron came out of the goal and Florence Bliss tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Logan Caron showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florence Bliss, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. A collision led to Elma AFC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Augustin Lacasse hit a great ball. Canol AFC were awarded a corner in the 38th minute after Elma AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Davis Koehler took the corner. 40 minutes into the match, Elma AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Cedrick Bledsoe came free, but Logan Caron reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Augustin Lacasse kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Florence Bliss in the 57th minute of play forced Elma AFC's goalkeeper Logan Caron to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Forest Aupry's late challenge caught a Elma AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Forest Aupry helped the player get up and apologised. Rod Garza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Elma AFC's Tim Caldwell got a free kick in the 85th minute. Tim Caldwell kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Logan Caron made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cedrick Bledsoe in the 96th minute. Canol AFC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
