When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Milo Ballard took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Carlton Wells to make any attempt to save it. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Milo Ballard stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Milo Ballard couldn't finish the play. After 69 minutes, Milo Ballard mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Buckhorn FC and the Mississauga Warriors players grew even worse after the yellow card. For all the effort they put into the match, the Mississauga Warriors players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Buckhorn FC.
