The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Nathanael Dubois could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Absolon Doss made a huge save. Absolon Doss made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Troy Lindsey in the 8th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, HARMANSARAY's goalkeeper Absolon Doss had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nathanael Dubois. Emery Fuentes hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Troy Lindsey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Absolon Doss having to interfere. Absolon Doss made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Troy Lindsey in the 16th minute of play. Nathanael Dubois fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Absolon Doss having to interfere. When Rickey Moody fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored HARMANSARAY's protests and gave Rickey Moody a yellow card for diving instead. After 25 played minutes HARMANSARAY got a freekick which was hit by Rickey Moody. Troy Lindsey struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Absolon Doss didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Horsefly. Absolon Doss made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Nathanael Dubois sent off a good shot on target. Troy Lindsey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Leonard Bienvenue had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to HARMANSARAY getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Rickey Moody hit a great ball. Troy Lindsey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Troy Lindsey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in HARMANSARAY's zone, Troy Lindsey stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Absolon Doss came out of the goal and Troy Lindsey tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Andreas McLean made the kick off in the second half. Fabien Ruffin kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. The supporters of Horsefly booed when HARMANSARAY was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gratien Kitchen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nathanael Dubois fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Absolon Doss having to interfere. Nathanael Dubois received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Absolon Doss tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nathanael Dubois in the 66th minute of play forced HARMANSARAY's goalkeeper Absolon Doss to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, HARMANSARAY's Francisco Squires got a free kick in the 68th minute. In the 73rd minute, Troy Lindsey made a precise shot to the right of Absolon Doss. HARMANSARAY's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Troy Lindsey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Absolon Doss having to interfere. The supporters of Horsefly booed when HARMANSARAY was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gérard Wiley didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 80th minute of the match Carlo Racicot sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Absolon Doss skillfully saved the ball. Troy Lindsey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Absolon Doss having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nathanael Dubois in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Absolon Doss saved HARMANSARAY from getting behind. Nathanael Dubois's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Absolon Doss read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. Fabien Ruffin's late challenge caught a HARMANSARAY's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fabien Ruffin helped the player get up and apologised. In the 86th minute, Fabien Ruffin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nathanael Dubois hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. If Aurèle Hemphill had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 94 played minutes HARMANSARAY got a freekick which was hit by Gérard Wiley. Horsefly's Nathanael Dubois got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Troy Lindsey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Absolon Doss tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Horsefly had played much better football throughout.
