Matthew Murillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guillaume Séguin in the 6th minute of the match. 8 minutes into the match, Apollinaire Judd notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Igloolik's Matthew Murillo. Matthew Murillo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Oxford FC's Apollinaire Judd in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Igloolik's goalie prevented a goal. If Apollinaire Judd had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 27 minutes into the match, Igloolik's goal looked a bit too open when Guillaume Séguin came free, but Matthew Murillo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Oxford FC's goalkeeper Dominique Vickers, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 38th minute, Kelvin Gallegos reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dominique Vickers. The goal made the score 1-1. If Apollinaire Judd had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kelvin Gallegos was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Seth McKay managed to get in a good position for a shot. Igloolik's supporters rose to their feet, but Seth McKay was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dominique Vickers breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Matthew Murillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Apollinaire Judd in the 56th minute of play. Kelvin Gallegos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vito Duclos during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 59 minutes into the game, one of Oxford FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Kelvin Gallegos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Dominique Vickers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kelvin Gallegos in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dominique Vickers saved Oxford FC from getting behind. If Kelvin Gallegos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Igloolik's Matthew Murillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Apollinaire Judd in the 78th minute of play. Guillaume Séguins short, quick shot in the 80thth minute got Matthew Murillo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 82nd minute Apollinaire Judd shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matthew Murillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Igloolik's zone, Apollinaire Judd stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Matthew Murillo came out of the goal and Apollinaire Judd tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Igloolik's Seth McKay got a free kick in the 85th minute. Donovan Duclos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anthony Ball recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Guillaume Séguin took the ball and in the 98 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Matthew Murillo. Matthew Murillo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
