Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Apollinaire Judd took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpected shot in the 3rd minute by Troy Lindsey got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Nathanael Dubois sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Troy Lindsey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dominique Vickers having to interfere. Dominique Vickers made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nathanael Dubois in the 14th minute. Frank Stark kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. After 16 played minutes Horsefly got a freekick which was hit by Nathanael Dubois. Herschel Manning showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gil Chatman in the 20th minute of the match. In the 29th minute Troy Lindsey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dominique Vickers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In a very dangerous position, a player in Oxford FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 30th minute. Penalty! Dallas Petit charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dallas Petit the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Dallas Petit hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Apollinaire Judd recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Frank Stark kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. When Troy Lindsey came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Horsefly fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Troy Lindsey couldn't finish the play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Troy Lindsey was the one to do the kick off. Troy Lindsey recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 58 minutes into the match, Oxford FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fabien Ruffin came free, but Dominique Vickers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlo Racicot took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 65th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dominique Vickers. Oxford FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Dominique Vickers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Troy Lindsey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nathanael Dubois in the 72nd minute of play forced Oxford FC's goalkeeper Dominique Vickers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 73rd match minute, Horsefly was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by André Tran to maneuver through the defense. When Gustavo Terrell came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Oxford FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustavo Terrell couldn't finish the play. After having played for 76 minutes, Troy Lindsey managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Horsefly's supporters crossed their fingers, but Troy Lindsey was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Nathanael Dubois had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dominique Vickers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Troy Lindsey, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Troy Lindsey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Dominique Vickers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dominique Vickers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Troy Lindsey in the 86th minute of play. 88 minutes into the game, Troy Lindsey cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Dominique Vickers was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Troy Lindsey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Dominique Vickers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There was no doubt that Horsefly were the better team. Horsefly's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
