Absolon Doss came out of the goal and Hilton Blackmon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Coleman Drew had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Coleman Drew in the 26th minute of play forced HARMANSARAY's goalkeeper Absolon Doss to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Coleman Drew sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hilton Blackmon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Absolon Doss read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Werner Terry showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonard Bienvenue, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Hilton Blackmon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Absolon Doss tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, HARMANSARAY's Absolon Doss got control of the ball when Coleman Drew tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 93 played minutes, HARMANSARAY's Roch McGowan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Werner Terry came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in HARMANSARAY reached it. After 94 played minutes Midway got a freekick which was hit by Hal Downing. HARMANSARAY's Leonard Bienvenue got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Midway's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
