Efren Galloway showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luigi Bailey, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rodrigo Duffet stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Vaughn Feldman clashed with another player. He fell to the ground and was in great pain. It was obvious that he couldn't finish the game. After 55 played minutes Antigonish AFC got a freekick which was hit by Gregg Norris. Antigonish AFC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
