Spectators: 6719 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1719, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Monty Guevara got the match started through his kick off. In the 5th minute Monty Guevara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Homer Paré saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 8th match minute, Summerland AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clement D'Avis to maneuver through the defense. Homer Paré made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monty Guevara in the 10th minute of play. Monty Guevara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot 26 in the game by Tracey Bourgeau from a close distance when the talented Fermin Viens managed to make a qualified save. Summerland AFC's players were relieved. A collision led to Mayne getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Kristofer Howard hit a great ball. Kristofer Howard kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. In the 38th minute Monty Guevara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Homer Paré saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Norberto Lefebvre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Homer Paré having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dick Dennis to make the kick off. Mayne's Homer Paré proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Mayne from getting a goal against them. An unexpected shot in the 56th minute by Monty Guevara got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Monty Guevara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Homer Paré tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Norberto Lefebvre recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Mayne's zone, Monty Guevara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Homer Paré came out of the goal and Monty Guevara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Mayne's Nicholas Hammer got a free kick in the 80th minute. Summerland AFC's attack was well implemented in the 82nd minute, but when Norberto Lefebvre was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Homer Paré was out of position in the 84 minute of play, and Monty Guevara capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Monty Guevara really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. Summerland AFC's Fermin Viens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dick Dennis in the 91st minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Summerland AFC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Mayne.
