Spectators: 6726 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 0) Antigonish AFC's Luigi Bailey started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Edmundo Bray had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luigi Bailey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Edmundo Bray's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Donald Holliday was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. Milton Elkins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donald Holliday having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lionel Jodoin during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 34th minute, Lester Walsh got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ermenegilde Love kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Luigi Bailey hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Eugène Curran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luigi Bailey in the 47th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edmundo Bray made a kick off. Edmundo Bray recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anselme Pinette charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anselme Pinette the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Dylan Aviles was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 64th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Donald Holliday showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arlie Shields, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Milton Elkins received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Donald Holliday came out and tried to block the shot, but Milton Elkins slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 77th minute. After 82 played minutes Sorel got a freekick which was hit by Eloy Rudolph. In the 84th minute, Darin Ohara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 88th minute, Dylan Aviles sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Antigonish AFC's Donald Holliday didn't even have to move. 95 minutes into the match, Sorel's Edmundo Bray sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Donald Holliday narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Sorel eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
