Spectators: 6728 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1728, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Justin Lavoie took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 5th minute, Nicodème Duclos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Léonard Starnes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Gino Poirier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 8 minutes, Justin Lavoie managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Erwood AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Justin Lavoie was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Justin Lavoie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roy Tabor having to interfere. If Eldon McCracken had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Irvin Glover took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 16th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gino Poirier. Erwood AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Keewatin's Léonard Starnes got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Léonard Starnes in the 21st minute of play forced Erwood AFC's goalkeeper Gino Poirier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th match minute, Erwood AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joshua Bolton to maneuver through the defense. In the 27th minute, Perry Wiley got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Justin Lavoie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 33 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Erwood AFC's Justin Lavoie fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. The supporters of Erwood AFC booed when Keewatin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christoper Blue didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roy Tabor made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Eldon McCracken sent off a good shot on target. Perry Wiley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Gino Poirier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 43rd match minute, Erwood AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joshua Bolton to maneuver through the defense. If Perry Wiley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Roy Tabor came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Erwood AFC's Eldon McCracken. But to his dismay, Eldon McCracken quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. If Léonard Starnes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Saul Bouchard took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 64th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gino Poirier. Erwood AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Roy Tabor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eldon McCracken, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Léonard Starnes who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 68thth minute tested the skills of Gino Poirier when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 69th minute Edwardo Golden collided with an opponent which caused him a fractured collar bone. Jarod Stephenson charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jarod Stephenson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jarod Stephenson kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Léonard Starnes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Keewatin's supporters rose to their feet, but Léonard Starnes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gino Poirier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Justin Lavoie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roy Tabor having to interfere. Dwain Cyr was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 83rd minute. Keewatin's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Justin Lavoie in the 87th minute of play forced Keewatin's goalkeeper Roy Tabor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eldon McCracken's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roy Tabor read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. 97 minutes into the match, Keewatin's goal looked a bit too open when Justin Lavoie came free, but Roy Tabor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
