Lucien Shea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sammy Desaulniers having to interfere. With a little luck, Albany FC's Sammy Desaulniers got control of the ball when François Harden tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Albany FC's zone, François Harden stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sammy Desaulniers came out of the goal and François Harden tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Barney Tucker took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sterling Landry, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Lucien Shea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lucien Shea could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Sammy Desaulniers made a huge save. In the 31st minute Bud Womack shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Barney Tucker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. François Hardens short, quick shot in the 37thth minute got Sammy Desaulniers to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Caliber FC's Barney Tucker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sterling Landry in the 42nd minute of play. In the 45th minute, Sterling Landry left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Albany FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1.

The wind increased when Lucien Shea made the kick off in the second half. In the 56th match minute, Albany FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elvin Blanco to maneuver through the defense. Albany FC's Frances Fox suffered a sore thigh after 57 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lucien Shea during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Albany FC booed when Caliber FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucien Shea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lucien Shea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. The referee ignored Albany FC's protests and gave Jonas George a yellow card for diving instead. Jonas George kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. In the 71st minute, Sterling Landry got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Jonas George had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 76 minutes into the match, Albany FC's goal looked a bit too open when François Harden came free, but Sammy Desaulniers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elvin Blanco blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Barney Tucker having to make a save. Sammy Desaulniers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucien Shea in the 83rd minute of the match. In the 87th minute, Lucien Shea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If François Harden had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. François Harden received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Sammy Desaulniers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Caliber FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Albany FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Albany FC.
