Debec FC's Von Brasseur proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Debec FC from getting a goal against them. In the 13th match minute, Debec FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jay Chaloux to maneuver through the defense. After 15 played minutes Debec FC got a freekick which was hit by Thomas Harding. The long shot by Antony Mora in the 16th minute really tested Von Brasseur's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Ben Huerta struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Von Brasseur didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Castlegar AFC. In the 25th minute Tyron Lefebvre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hayden Sicard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Harry Boles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hayden Sicard having to interfere. Hayden Sicard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harry Boles, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. After some careless play in the Debec FC defense, Luciano Gross kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Von Brasseur. The Debec FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Von Brasseur should have stopped the shot. Luciano Gross sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ben Huerta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Debec FC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Thomas Harding hit a great ball. After 47 played minutes Debec FC got a freekick which was hit by Thomas Harding. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Albert Rochon kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Antony Mora took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 55th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Von Brasseur. Debec FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Elliot Wells kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. If Luciano Gross had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 70th minute, Tyron Lefebvre got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 72nd minute, Harry Boles fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Hayden Sicard, passed just outside the right post. If Tyron Lefebvre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 76 minutes into the game, Tyron Lefebvre lined in a short shot 1-1 behind a frustrated Hayden Sicard. Darell L'Anglais kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. After 80 played minutes Harry Boles rounded Castlegar AFC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-2. After a rather tough play, Castlegar AFC's Antony Mora got a free kick in the 88th minute. In the 92nd minute, Tyron Lefebvre left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Debec FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Harry Boles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tyron Lefebvres short, quick shot in the 96thth minute got Hayden Sicard to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.
