Spectators: 7496 (Terracing: 5623, Seating: 1724, VIP seats: 149) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ben Huerta took the kick off in the first half of the match. When the match had gone on for 4 minutes, Lucien Shea took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Hayden Sicard to make any attempt to save it. A collision led to Caliber FC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Jérôme Bearden hit a great ball. Barney Tucker took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ben Huerta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Barney Tucker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ben Huerta in the 17th minute of the match. After having played for 18 minutes, Ben Huerta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Castlegar AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ben Huerta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 18th minute Luciano Gross shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Barney Tucker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ben Huerta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luciano Gross took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Barney Tucker. Barney Tucker dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Ben Huerta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luciano Gross received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Barney Tucker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Castlegar AFC's Hayden Sicard got control of the ball when François Harden tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lucien Shea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. François Harden kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Caliber FC's Barney Tucker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ben Huerta in the 44th minute of play. Barney Tucker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ben Huerta in the 46th minute of the match. After 47 minutes, Irving Bunch mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Caliber FC and the Castlegar AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 47 played minutes Caliber FC got a freekick which was hit by Irving Bunch. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lucien Shea made a kick off. When François Harden came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Caliber FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that François Harden couldn't finish the play. 55 minutes had been played when some careless play by Castlegar AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Alejandro Friend was slow to take the kick. During this time Caliber FC's players had a chance to rest. In the 60th minute, Luciano Gross got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luciano Gross struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Barney Tucker didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Castlegar AFC. In the 71st minute, one of Caliber FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Caliber FC. Lucien Shea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Hayden Sicard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 80 minutes into the match, Caliber FC's goalkeeper Barney Tucker had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luciano Gross. 82 minutes into the match, Castlegar AFC's Luciano Gross sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Barney Tucker narrowly saved just below the crossbar. François Harden struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Hayden Sicard didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caliber FC. After 89 played minutes Castlegar AFC got a freekick which was hit by Luciano Gross. Castlegar AFC's Ben Huerta got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Castlegar AFC's Luciano Gross got a free kick in the 95th minute. After having played for 97 minutes, Luciano Gross managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Castlegar AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luciano Gross was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Caliber FC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Castlegar AFC had controlled the match.
