Spectators: 6724 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1724, VIP seats: 0) Willowdale's Abram Coon started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Lowell Smalls had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Lowell Smalls fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Clayhurst's protests and gave Lowell Smalls a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Willowdale booed when Clayhurst was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lowell Smalls didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Willowdale's Abram Coon in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Clayhurst's goalie prevented a goal. 9 minutes into the match, Clayhurst's Hector Irvin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leonel Longoria narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 12th minute of the match Quincy Booker shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dante Sabourin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 14 minutes into the game, Mikel Coley cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Dante Sabourin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Hector Irvin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hector Irvin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Willowdale's zone, Hector Irvin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonel Longoria came out of the goal and Hector Irvin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marlon Goudreau struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Leonel Longoria didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Clayhurst. Dante Sabourin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abram Coon, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Dante Sabourin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mikel Coley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elias Busby hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Dante Sabourin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mikel Coley in the 35th minute of the match. Hector Irvin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonel Longoria having to interfere. Mikel Coley scored 0-2 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dante Sabourin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Marlon Goudreau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonel Longoria having to interfere. Hiram Scales kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. If Marlon Goudreau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Clayhurst players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Willowdale were winning 0-2.

In the 53rd minute, Aurelio Spicer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Clayhurst's Dante Sabourin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abram Coon in the 57th minute of play. Leonel Longoria showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hector Irvin, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. In the 60th minute, Marlon Goudreau got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hector Irvin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Leonel Longoria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 65 minutes into the match, Mikel Coley had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dante Sabourin. Clayhurst's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mikel Coley was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Valentin Chamberlain's late challenge caught a Willowdale's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Valentin Chamberlain helped the player get up and apologised. Valentin Chamberlain hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. In the 75th minute Marlon Goudreau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonel Longoria saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dante Sabourin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abram Coon in the 79th minute of the match. When Abram Coon came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Willowdale fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abram Coon couldn't finish the play. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Clayhurst's goalkeeper Dante Sabourin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dante Sabourin made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Mikel Coley sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Clayhurst's Valentin Chamberlain got a free kick in the 89th minute. Mikel Coley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Sabourin having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Willowdale eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
