Spectators: 6729 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1729, VIP seats: 0) Albany FC's Sammy Desaulniers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marlon Goudreau in the 3rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marlon Goudreau in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sammy Desaulniers saved Albany FC from getting behind. Dante Sabourin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bud Womack in the 14th minute of the match. Dante Sabourin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bud Womack, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Hector Irvin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Sammy Desaulniers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 28 minutes into the match, Albany FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hector Irvin came free, but Sammy Desaulniers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bud Womack in the 33rd minute of play forced Clayhurst's goalkeeper Dante Sabourin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Albany FC's Bud Womack slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dante Sabourin. That made the score 1-0 after 35 minutes of play. Sammy Desaulniers came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Clayhurst's Marlon Goudreau. But to his dismay, Marlon Goudreau quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Bud Womack made the kick off in the second half. In the 51stth minute of the game Hector Irvin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Albany FC's Sammy Desaulniers was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the last second Sammy Desaulniers throw himself and got hold of the ball when Hector Irvin in the 57thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. In the 59th match minute, Clayhurst was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Honoré Chouinard to maneuver through the defense. Marlon Goudreau could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Sammy Desaulniers made a huge save. In the 67th minute Bud Womack shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Sabourin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Albany FC's Bud Womack in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Clayhurst's goalie prevented a goal. 72 minutes into the match, Albany FC's Bud Womack sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dante Sabourin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bud Womack fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Sabourin having to interfere. Dante Sabourin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sterling Landry, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dante Sabourin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sterling Landry in the 76th minute of the match.
