Spectators: 6726 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ben Huerta took the kick off in the first half of the match. Ben Huerta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Paul Leach tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 5th minute, Everett Slaughter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 6th minute, Ben Huerta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Castlegar AFC booed when Dover was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Everett Slaughter didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adolfo Whitley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paul Leach having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Herbert Harris in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hayden Sicard saved Castlegar AFC from getting behind. In the 13thth minute of the game Herbert Harris who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Castlegar AFC's Hayden Sicard was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hayden Sicard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Herbert Harris, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 18th minute, Dover's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Luciano Gross fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Hayden Sicard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brice Peachey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 27 minutes into the game, Brice Peachey cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Hayden Sicard was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luciano Gross received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Paul Leach tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dover's Paul Leach proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Dover from getting a goal against them. Everett Slaughter recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Castlegar AFC defense, Herbert Harris kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hayden Sicard. The Castlegar AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hayden Sicard should have stopped the shot. Luciano Gross received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Paul Leach tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Brice Peachey made a kick off. If Brice Peachey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Herbert Harris came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Dover fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Herbert Harris couldn't finish the play. Hayden Sicard had great luck who in the 62ndth minute grab hold of the ball when Brice Peachey from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Luciano Gross's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paul Leach read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. In the 68thth minute of the game Ben Huerta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dover's Paul Leach was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Dover getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Louis Rich hit a great ball. Ben Huerta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Herbert Harris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hayden Sicard made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Herbert Harris sent off a good shot on target. Dover's Brice Peachey got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Paul Leach showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luciano Gross in the 91st minute of the match. Ben Huerta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paul Leach having to interfere. Paul Leach made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ben Huerta in the 96th minute of play.
