Spectators: 6730 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Robby Merritt got the match started through his kick off. Robby Merritt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Dante Sabourin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Robby Merritt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 9 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Robby Merritt sped through Clayhurst's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dante Sabourin. Robby Merritt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Sabourin having to interfere. When Elias Busby fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Clayhurst's protests and gave Elias Busby a yellow card for diving instead. Elias Busby kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Lupe Nunez struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Dante Sabourin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fitzgerald. Hector Irvin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Everett Deniger having to interfere. After 36 minutes of play, Fitzgerald's Lupe Nunez made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dante Sabourin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Everett Deniger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elias Busby, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dante Sabourin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robby Merritt in the 41st minute of play. Elias Busby hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. 48 minutes into the match, Clayhurst's goal looked a bit too open when Robby Merritt came free, but Dante Sabourin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

After having played for 52 minutes, Hector Irvin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Clayhurst's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hector Irvin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 60 minutes into the game, Lupe Nunez recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dante Sabourin. Lupe Nunez showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. The audience was convinced that Hector Irvin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Everett Deniger was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. In the 68th minute of the match Fiacre Garreau shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dante Sabourin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A hard shot 72 in the game by Lupe Nunez from a close distance when the talented Dante Sabourin managed to make a qualified save. Clayhurst's players were relieved. An unexpected shot in the 73rd minute by Lupe Nunez got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Hector Irvin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Hector Irvin came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Clayhurst fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hector Irvin couldn't finish the play. Hector Irvin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Everett Deniger having to interfere. Wes Beaudoin charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wes Beaudoin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee gave Clayhurst a penalty, 89 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Aurelio Spicer, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Fitzgerald's Everett Deniger. 2-3. Everett Deniger came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Clayhurst's Hector Irvin. But to his dismay, Hector Irvin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wallace Maynard in the 99th minute of play forced Clayhurst's goalkeeper Dante Sabourin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
