Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Joan Edmonds kicked off to start the match. Luciano Gross might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Filiberto Hay. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luciano Gross ran back to his position shaking his head. Bill McKenzie recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bill McKenzie's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 9thth minute, Hayden Sicard skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 11 minutes into the match, Ochiltree's goal looked a bit too open when Ed Cobb came free, but Filiberto Hay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. René Leduc fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hayden Sicard having to interfere. After 16 played minutes Castlegar AFC got a freekick which was hit by Adolfo Whitley. Joan Edmonds struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Hayden Sicard didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ochiltree. 20 minutes into the match, Castlegar AFC's goalkeeper Hayden Sicard had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bill McKenzie. In the 24th minute, Luciano Gross got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 31 minutes, Adolfo Whitley mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Castlegar AFC and the Ochiltree players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 32nd match minute, Castlegar AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adolfo Whitley to maneuver through the defense. In the 34th minute Ed Cobb shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filiberto Hay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Joan Edmonds managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ochiltree's supporters rose to their feet, but Joan Edmonds was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hayden Sicard breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 43rd minute, Joan Edmonds got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 44 minutes of play Castlegar AFC's Adolfo Whitley was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Castlegar AFC's Adolfo Whitley got a free kick in the 45th minute. Hayden Sicard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joan Edmonds, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luciano Gross to make the kick off. Bill McKenzie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hayden Sicard having to interfere. Ed Cobb hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. If Joan Edmonds had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 57 minutes into the match, Castlegar AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Bill McKenzie came free, but Hayden Sicard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hayden Sicard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joan Edmonds, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Hayden Sicard stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joan Edmonds's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. Ochiltree's Thurman Medley got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hayden Sicard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joan Edmonds in the 69th minute of play. Hayden Sicard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joan Edmonds, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. During the 76th minute of the match Ed Cobb completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Ed Cobb a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Ed Cobb hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Bill McKenzie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 84th minute of the match Colombe Dorsey sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hayden Sicard skillfully saved the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Thurman Medley in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hayden Sicard prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Bill McKenzie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
