Spectators: 6738 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1738, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Joan Edmonds kicked off to start the match. Paul Leach came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Ochiltree's Joan Edmonds. But to his dismay, Joan Edmonds quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Paul Leach took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joan Edmonds, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Bill McKenzie came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Ochiltree fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bill McKenzie couldn't finish the play. Ochiltree's Joan Edmonds got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Everett Slaughter kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Joan Edmonds received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Paul Leach tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 24 minutes, Thurman Medley mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ochiltree and the Dover players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 24 played minutes Ochiltree got a freekick which was hit by Thurman Medley. When Dover's Brice Peachey in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ochiltree's goalie prevented a goal. Joan Edmonds might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Paul Leach. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joan Edmonds ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 30th minute, Bill McKenzie made a precise shot to the right of Paul Leach. Dover's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Filiberto Hay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brice Peachey in the 35th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Brice Peachey in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Filiberto Hay prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Bill McKenzie managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ochiltree's supporters rose to their feet, but Bill McKenzie was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paul Leach breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 47 minutes, Norris Abrams mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ochiltree and the Dover players grew even worse after the yellow card. Norris Abrams kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The Dover players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ochiltree were winning 0-2.

The wind increased when Brice Peachey made the kick off in the second half. 62 minutes into the match, Ochiltree's goal looked a bit too open when Brice Peachey came free, but Filiberto Hay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paul Leach took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joan Edmonds, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Brice Peachey recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bill McKenzie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paul Leach having to interfere. In the 71st match minute, Dover was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Everett Slaughter to maneuver through the defense. Herbert Harris took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Filiberto Hay. Filiberto Hay dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Filiberto Hay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brice Peachey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 84th minute, Bill McKenzie made a precise shot to the right of Paul Leach. Dover's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Dover's Paul Leach proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Dover from getting a goal against them. In the 89th minute, Everett Slaughter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paul Leach made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bill McKenzie in the 90th minute. Filiberto Hay came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Dover's Brice Peachey. But to his dismay, Brice Peachey quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. 97 minutes into the match, Dover's Dallas Belcher broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Ochiltree's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
