Marcel Koehler came out of the goal and Mahsun Yalınalp tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rodney Kiser who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 13thth minute tested the skills of Marcel Koehler when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Rodney Kiser received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Marcel Koehler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot 20 in the game by Rodney Kiser from a close distance when the talented Marcel Koehler managed to make a qualified save. Lancaster's players were relieved. Erich Bourque kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. 27 minutes into the match, Ottova FC's goal looked a bit too open when Stan Edwards came free, but Roberto Burgos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rodney Kiser to make the kick off. 59 minutes into the match, Lancaster's Stan Edwards sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roberto Burgos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rodney Kiser sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Erich Bourque hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Rodney Kiser fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcel Koehler having to interfere.
