After 9 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Calmar FC! Calmar FC:s Brendan Thompson showed great skill when he stopped Pascal Becerra:s penalty. Terrence FresneFrêne showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Waylon Numbers in the 14th minute of the match. When Drew Kurtz fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Calmar FC's protests and gave Drew Kurtz a yellow card for diving instead. Drew Kurtz hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Brendan Thompson didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Berthierville's Scottie Lutz shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute. A collision led to Calmar FC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Géraud Waite hit a great ball. After 22 played minutes Calmar FC got a freekick which was hit by Drew Kurtz. With his leg Brendan Thompson managed to avoid a goal in the 23rdth minute, when Berthierville's Deangelo Underwood fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 27th minute Waylon Numbers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Terrence FresneFrêne saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Waylon Numbers in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Terrence FresneFrêne saved Berthierville from getting behind. Berthierville's Terrence FresneFrêne played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shaun McLeod in the 35th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Shaun McLeod to strike the kick off in the second half. Scottie Lutz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ross Garcia charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ross Garcia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Calmar FC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Ross Garcia hit a great ball. With an all-out effort, Calmar FC's Terrence FresneFrêne threw himself towards the right post 64 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Shaun McLeod, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Rodolfo Sanders came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Berthierville fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rodolfo Sanders couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Scottie Lutz in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Brendan Thompson saved Calmar FC from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Calmar FC's Ross Garcia got a free kick in the 81st minute. Shaun McLeod recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Berthierville had won after a very even match.
