The supporters of Mehan AFC booed when Ottova FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erich Bourque didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Bryan Kuhn fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mehan AFC's protests and gave Bryan Kuhn a yellow card for diving instead. In the 11th minute, Bryan Kuhn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Mehan AFC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Bryan Kuhn hit a great ball. If Rodney Kiser had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 16th minute Rodney Kiser shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romain Buckner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Sebastian Stacy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rodney Kiser in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Romain Buckner saved Mehan AFC from getting behind. Ottova FC's Roberto Burgos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Stacy in the 26th minute of play. After some careless play in the Ottova FC defense, Jess Wilson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Roberto Burgos. The Ottova FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roberto Burgos should have stopped the shot. 34 minutes into the match, Bertram Zepeda had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Roberto Burgos. Ottova FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bertram Zepeda was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. If Bryan Kuhn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mehan AFC's Sebastian Stacy got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rodney Kiser in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Romain Buckner prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 45th minute, Sebastian Stacy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sebastian Stacy was the one to do the kick off. Jess Wilsons short, quick shot in the 51stth minute got Roberto Burgos to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Jess Wilson hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Sebastian Stacy's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roberto Burgos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. Roberto Burgos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Stacy in the 59th minute of play. Bryan Kuhn struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Roberto Burgos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mehan AFC. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rodney Kiser in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Romain Buckner prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Mehan AFC's Sebastian Stacy got a free kick in the 77th minute. When Bryan Kuhn was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 78 minutes had been played. After 79 played minutes Mehan AFC got a freekick which was hit by Bryan Kuhn. When Ottova FC's Rodney Kiser in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mehan AFC's goalie prevented a goal. When Mahsun Yalınalp fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ottova FC's protests and gave Mahsun Yalınalp a yellow card for diving instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Mehan AFC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
