Spectators: 6736 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1736, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Bernard Roth took the kick off in the first half of the match. 2 minutes into the match, Oakville Oaks's goal looked a bit too open when Efren Kay came free, but Jean Gallegos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Oakville Oaks's Jean Gallegos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Efren Kay in the 4th minute of play. Wyatt Boisvert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernard Roth in the 5th minute of play. Haywood Payton charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Haywood Payton the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Normetal getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Haywood Payton hit a great ball. If Bernard Roth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wyatt Boisvert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernard Roth in the 12th minute of the match. After 13 played minutes Oakville Oaks got a freekick which was hit by Ashley Lazure. In the 14th minute of the match Teodoro Marrero shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jean Gallegos showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 17th minute Bernard Roth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wyatt Boisvert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jean Gallegos made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Haywood Payton sent off a good shot on target. In the 24th minute, Bruce Guthrie got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Clark McCracken recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Bruce Guthrie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bernard Roth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wyatt Boisvert having to interfere. Bruce Guthrie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Wyatt Boisvert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Efren Kay hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. 37 minutes into the match, Clark McCracken notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Normetal's Wyatt Boisvert. Wyatt Boisvert was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jean Gallegos made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Haywood Payton sent off a good shot on target. Bruce Guthrie struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Wyatt Boisvert didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Oakville Oaks. Bernard Roth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

After a defensive mix-up in Normetal's zone, Bernard Roth stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wyatt Boisvert came out of the goal and Bernard Roth tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Oakville Oaks's Clark McCracken got a free kick in the 55th minute. 59 minutes into the match, Bill McLain dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Wyatt Boisvert, 0-2. In the 63rd minute, Oakville Oaks's Ashley Lazure ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Wyatt Boisvert. Wyatt Boisvert yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. If Clark McCracken had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 74thth minute of the game Onesime Casey who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Normetal's Wyatt Boisvert was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 75th match minute, Oakville Oaks was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruce Guthrie to maneuver through the defense. Bill McLain sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 79 minutes, Efren Kay mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Normetal and the Oakville Oaks players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Oakville Oaks getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Clark McCracken hit a great ball. In the 83rd minute, Clark McCracken got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Efren Kay was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 84 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Normetal's Efren Kay got a free kick in the 85th minute. Bill McLain recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Oakville Oaks booed when Normetal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vance Farrar didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 91 minutes of play, Oakville Oaks's Bernard Roth made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wyatt Boisvert was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Oakville Oaks's Jerome Guidry got a free kick in the 96th minute. Oakville Oaks played a much better game than Normetal and deserved their victory. The Normetal players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
