Spectators: 6722 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1722, VIP seats: 0) Darrell Hutton started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 3 minutes into the match, Darrell Hutton notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Tudhope's Nicolas Tharp. Nicolas Tharp was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Nicolas Tharp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Darrell Hutton in the 11th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Darrell Hutton put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Nicolas Tharp. Emil Fortier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sang Simon in the 17th minute of play. In the 26th minute, Cameron Langelier ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nicolas Tharp was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Darrell Hutton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolas Tharp having to interfere. When McGillivray FC's Cameron Langelier in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tudhope's goalie prevented a goal. Hosea Laliberté who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 36thth minute tested the skills of Emil Fortier when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Emil Fortier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sang Simon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 42 played minutes Tudhope got a freekick which was hit by Sang Simon. 45 minutes into the game, Burton Wilcox was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. McGillivray FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tudhope the free kick. A collision led to McGillivray FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Burton Wilcox hit a great ball. The Tudhope players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. McGillivray FC were winning 1-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sang Simon was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Darrell Hutton managed to get in a good position for a shot. McGillivray FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Darrell Hutton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nicolas Tharp breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cameron Langelier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Darrell Hutton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Darrell Hutton received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Nicolas Tharp came out and tried to block the shot, but Darrell Hutton slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 64th minute. In the 67th minute, Sang Simon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tudhope fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. In the 71st minute, Cameron Langelier ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nicolas Tharp was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-5. Darrell Hutton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolas Tharp having to interfere. When Hosea Laliberté came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Tudhope fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hosea Laliberté couldn't finish the play. A hard shot 88 in the game by Cameron Langelier from a close distance when the talented Nicolas Tharp managed to make a qualified save. Tudhope's players were relieved. Hosea Laliberté fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emil Fortier having to interfere. Hosea Laliberté received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Emil Fortier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Sang Simon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The McGillivray FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing McGillivray FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
