Luther Page's late challenge caught a Berthierville's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luther Page helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Berthierville booed when Tannin AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luther Page didn't get a good kick on the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Berthierville's Pascal Becerra broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Chester Farrar got free with Terrence FresneFrêne in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sammy Coley took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Scottie Lutz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 46 played minutes Berthierville got a freekick which was hit by Rodolfo Sanders.

Terrence FresneFrêne didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tannin AFC. Terrence FresneFrêne showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chester Farrar in the 91st minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 93rd minute by Deangelo Underwood got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Sammy Coley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Scottie Lutz, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. When Scottie Lutz came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Berthierville fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Scottie Lutz couldn't finish the play. Sammy Coley made an important save on a dangerous shot by Deangelo Underwood in the 97th minute. The Tannin AFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Berthierville's performance. The match ended with a win for Berthierville.
