Spectators: 6722 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1722, VIP seats: 0) Darrell Hutton made the kick off and thus started the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ralph Leonard in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emil Fortier saved McGillivray FC from getting behind. Cameron Langelier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Efren Kay kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Burton Wilcox kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Emil Fortier stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Haywood Payton's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. Wyatt Boisvert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Darrell Hutton in the 18th minute of play. Vance Farrar hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Wyatt Boisvert stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Darrell Hutton's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Cameron Langelier had several of the Normetal's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 24 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Wyatt Boisvert as he didn't even see the shot coming. 27 minutes into the match, Haywood Payton notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of McGillivray FC's Emil Fortier. Emil Fortier was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ralph Leonard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emil Fortier having to interfere. Haywood Payton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 41 minutes into the game, McGillivray FC's Cameron Langelier nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wyatt Boisvert made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Normetal's goalkeeper Wyatt Boisvert, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ralph Leonard was the one to do the kick off. Darrell Hutton took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wyatt Boisvert. Wyatt Boisvert dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. The supporters of McGillivray FC booed when Normetal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vance Farrar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cameron Langelier blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wyatt Boisvert having to make a save. 68 minutes into the match, Cameron Langelier notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Normetal's Wyatt Boisvert. Wyatt Boisvert was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cameron Langelier blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wyatt Boisvert having to make a save. McGillivray FC's Emil Fortier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ralph Leonard in the 79th minute of play. Darrell Hutton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wyatt Boisvert having to interfere. When McGillivray FC's Cameron Langelier in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Normetal's goalie prevented a goal. In the 85th match minute, Normetal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vance Farrar to maneuver through the defense. Wyatt Boisvert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Darrell Hutton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The McGillivray FC fans' excitement grew in the 88th match minute when McGillivray FC's Darrell Hutton looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Ralph Leonard came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Normetal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ralph Leonard couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, McGillivray FC's Emil Fortier got control of the ball when Haywood Payton tried to sneak it across the goal line. McGillivray FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
