With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rodney Kiser in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emil Fortier saved McGillivray FC from getting behind. Roberto Burgos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronnie Queen in the 11th minute of play. Mahsun Yalınalp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Rodney Kiser managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ottova FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rodney Kiser was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emil Fortier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Burton Wilcox was shown his second yellow card after 20 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Burton Wilcox hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Emil Fortier didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Ottova FC's Rodney Kiser shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute. If Mahsun Yalınalp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roberto Burgos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cameron Langelier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th minute, Ottova FC's Domenic Brooks seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Domenic Brooks the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Ottova FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Domenic Brooks had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 33rd minute of the game. One of Ottova FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of McGillivray FC:s goal. The referee gave McGillivray FC a penalty, 36 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Yves Adair, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Ottova FC's Roberto Burgos. 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Cameron Langelier managed to get in a good position for a shot. McGillivray FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cameron Langelier was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roberto Burgos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. McGillivray FC's Cameron Langelier got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Darrell Hutton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

If Boyd Couture had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Darrell Hutton's late challenge caught a Ottova FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Darrell Hutton helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, McGillivray FC's Darrell Hutton got a free kick in the 53rd minute. After 58 played minutes McGillivray FC got a freekick which was hit by Darrell Hutton. If Erich Bourque had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 70th minute, Boyd Couture made a precise shot to the right of Emil Fortier. McGillivray FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Emil Fortier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boyd Couture in the 77th minute of play. Emil Fortier was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 92 minutes of play McGillivray FC's Darrell Hutton was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Darrell Hutton kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Andrea Watt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Ottova FC had played much better football throughout.
