Cary Paquette showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stefan Springer, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Yann Carignan scored 1-0 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Danial Echeverri, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Everette Greenwood fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Beaual's protests and gave Everette Greenwood a yellow card for diving instead. In the 26th minute there was a penalty for Thurso FC. Clemente Hammer stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Danial Echeverri. 2-0. 31 minutes into the match, Everette Greenwood had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cary Paquette. Thurso FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Everette Greenwood was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Stefan Springer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cary Paquette having to interfere. Everette Greenwood's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cary Paquette read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Everette Greenwood was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Thurso FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lane Marquez to maneuver through the defense. In the 55th minute, Anatole Larocque hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Florencio Lawler struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Danial Echeverri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Thurso FC. In the 66th minute, Fredric Cantrell ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Danial Echeverri was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. After 73 played minutes Beaual got a freekick which was hit by Anatole Larocque. A collision led to Thurso FC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Lucio Medeiros hit a great ball. Cary Paquette took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Everette Greenwood, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 88 minutes, Everette Greenwood managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Beaual's supporters crossed their fingers, but Everette Greenwood was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A beautiful save bye Thurso FC's goalie prevented a goal. Danial Echeverri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yann Carignan in the 91st minute of the match. Thurso FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Beaual for a fine match.
