Spectators: 6722 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1722, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Cornell Gamelin got the match started through his kick off. 7 minutes into the game, Dominique Kimble was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Emerson's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tilbury FC the free kick. After 7 played minutes Emerson got a freekick which was hit by Dominique Kimble. In the 8th minute, Cornell Gamelin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abram Washington in the 10th minute of play forced Emerson's goalkeeper Gilbert Gilliam to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julian Baca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Milford Gardner in the 15th minute of the match. Paul Pratt hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. 17 minutes into the match, Emerson's Isreal Shipp broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Cornell Gamelin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 25 played minutes Tilbury FC got a freekick which was hit by Dominique Albert. The Tilbury FC fans' excitement grew in the 32nd match minute when Tilbury FC's Cornell Gamelin looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Emerson's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Isreal Shipp in the 42nd minute. A nice corner shot did that Isreal Shipp got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julian Baca quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Milford Gardner made the kick off in the second half. Milford Gardner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 63 minutes into the match, Milford Gardner had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julian Baca. Tilbury FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Milford Gardner was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Julian Baca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hipolito McCracken, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Clément Lambert lost his temper 70 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Emerson fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 69th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Tilbury FC a penalty, 72 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Aubrey Cortez, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Emerson's Gilbert Gilliam. 1-2. In the 75th match minute, Emerson was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isreal Shipp to maneuver through the defense. Gilbert Gilliam made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Aubrey Cortez sent off a good shot on target. Abram Washington fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilbert Gilliam having to interfere. In the 78th match minute, Emerson was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Monroe Gaulin to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Emerson's Dominique Kimble got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Abram Washington who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 83rdth minute tested the skills of Gilbert Gilliam when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Julian Baca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hipolito McCracken in the 86th minute of the match. When Hipolito McCracken came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Emerson fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hipolito McCracken couldn't finish the play. Gilbert Gilliam made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Abram Washington sent off a good shot on target. Aubrey Cortez charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aubrey Cortez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 95th match minute, Tilbury FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aubrey Cortez to maneuver through the defense. Isreal Shipp was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 96th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The Emerson supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Tilbury FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Tilbury FC.
