After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Jamar Beauchamp managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mammamattawa AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jamar Beauchamp was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rodrigue Horn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mammamattawa AFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gabriel Marin in the 10th minute. The corner ended in Gabriel Marin almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Needles AFC's Rodrigue Horn did a great save. Mammamattawa AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 13th minute, when Jude Alexander scored to the left of an out of position Heriberto Calloway, making the score, 1-0. If Jamar Beauchamp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Reid Lizotte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Heriberto Calloway tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Parker Sauvé charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Parker Sauvé the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Needles AFC's Parker Sauvé got a free kick in the 36th minute. If Rocky Platt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Needles AFC's Rodrigue Horn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rocky Platt in the 41st minute of play. Heriberto Calloway showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jude Alexander, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Jude Alexander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Heriberto Calloway having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Rocky Platt struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Rodrigue Horn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mammamattawa AFC. 55 minutes into the match, Reid Lizotte had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Heriberto Calloway. Mammamattawa AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Reid Lizotte was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Raymond Brochu during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Mammamattawa AFC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Raymond Brochu hit a great ball. Reid Lizotte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Heriberto Calloway tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 61st minute Jude Alexander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Heriberto Calloway saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 68 minutes into the game, Jude Alexander cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Heriberto Calloway was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rodrigue Horn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rocky Platt in the 72nd minute of the match. Needles AFC's Jude Alexander got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Reid Lizotte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Heriberto Calloway having to interfere. When Harrison Pereira came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Needles AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Harrison Pereira couldn't finish the play. When the match clock showed 94 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Rocky Platt sped through Needles AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rodrigue Horn.
